INSTRUCTIONS:
S = pipe cutters with blades of cutting carbon steel and stainless steel.
I= pipe cutters with blades of cutting cast iron and nodular cast iron.
X = pipe cutters with blades of cutting size 80 thick steel.
XX= pipe cutters with blades of cutting size 100 thick steel.
XS = pipe cutters with blades for cutting extra-thick carbon steel and extra-thick stainless steel.
For pipe cutters of the same type, you only need to change blades to cut pipes made of different materials.
Product Operation Instruction
- Check the blades to make sure they are suitable for the type of pipe to be cut.
- Make sure the bolt end is in a proper position, suitable for the size of the pipe to be cut. The double-end nut should be unscrewed evenly until the distance between the center of the rod end loop and the screw end is approximately 57 mm(two and a quarter inches). Unscrew the quick plug and pill pin and press the pipe-cutting machine against the pipe to be cut (if the clearance around the pipe is minimal, you may have to unscrew two pins). Connect the quick plug and pull the pin to the appropriate position through the supporting part of the tool holder and the rod end, and place the part of the torsional spring-loaded guide apparatus of the pipe-cutting machine above the pipe. Tighten the two double-end nuts by hand evenly until all four cutter wheels touch the pipe. Tighten the screws once every 1/2 round. A pipe-cutting machine can also be driven around the pipe by a double-end nut.
- While still being able to push the pipe-cutting machine around the pipe, tighten the double-end nut as much as possible (if sufficient tension is provided, the handle lever can be easily tightened--1/2 turn of the screw).
Note: When cutting the pipe, adding oil to the cutting edge can save power and extend the service life of the blade and the equipment.
